Tahan Insurance deliberated a business cooperation program with the
Persatuan Guru Malaysia Insurcase Sdn Bhd (PGM Insurcare) to educate,
provide and market the life and general Insurance products designed specially
for teachers, educationists and academicians. The business cooperation
program will benefit more than 140 thousand teachers who are members of
the Persatuan Guru Malaysia Behad (Teachers Association of Malaysia).
The business cooperation agreement which was handed over to the Chief
Executive Officer of PGMB , Dato Abdul Rahim Abdul, was officiated and
launched by Datuk Senator M Kayveas, Deputy Minister at the Prime Ministers
Department, at Carcosa Sri Negara.
Chief Executive Officer Tahan Insurance, Razidan Ghazalli, said the program
which saw PGM Insurcase as the agent was specifically positioned and tailored
to the meet teachers’ need for a complete insurance protection with
benefits to secure them against financial crisis in their future.
He added, the business cooperation program would give priority particularly
in research and development which would in return, helped to equate products
suitable for teachers’ need.
“We will specialize and concentrate to provide products of essence
for teachers by teachers. These products will be marketed by PGM Insurcare,
a subsidiary of the teacher’s foundation,” said Razidan. |
